Beyond the Mat: Thomas Kearins - Wrestling, Refereeing, and Real-world Impact

Thomas Kearins is an avid supporter of Cahonas and has raised money with a charity run.

In 2007, professional wrestling referee Thomas Kearins jumped headfirst into the wrestling scene and hasn’t slowed down since.

Embracing every opportunity that came his way, he rapidly worked his way up, calling the shots for major Scottish promotions before landing a spot at top independent promotion Insane Championship Wrestling in 2013.

Thomas appeared on the biggest British independent professional wrestling event in over 30 years, ICW Fear & Loathing at The SSE Hydro Arena in 2016, and, over the years, has stood across the ring from WWE Superstars such as Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, and Drew McIntyre.

In 2018, Thomas made history by becoming the first Scot to referee for the world's biggest sports entertainment company, WWE.

Since then, he has overseen thousands of matches across the UK, Ireland, Finland, and Spain.

Outside the ring, Thomas is a communications specialist, and was recently announced as the Director of Communications for ICW.
